CHUM's staff have been among Tiller's most outspoken supporters. Tiller's chaplain, the late George Gardner, was pastor of CHUM for many years until his 2002 resignation.

In the summer of 2001, CHUM fed proabortion protesters and allowed them to use the fellowship hall as a "break room" after they picketed in support of Tiller. (Notice the blue-and-white CHUM church bus in the background of the picture above.)
On May 25, 2004, the CHUM van was parked in Tiller's parking lot.
Bill Crowell
The "Reverend" Bill Crowell was CHUM's Minister of Membership Development & Integration until he moved on. Crowell has contributed money to Tiller's political action committee ProKanDo.
