Tiller owns 240 acres of land in Haskell County, Kansas. In addition, he shares the mineral rights (crude oil and natural gas) on an even larger tract. He inherited the land and mineral rights from his grandmother. Haskell County is in southwestern Kansas about 200 miles west of Wichita.

SURFACE OWNERSHIP

George and Jeanne Tiller own a tract of 240 acres of farmland a few miles southeast of Satanta, Kansas.

This grassland sits on the northeast corner of the rural intersection of 240th Road and Road JJ.

The legal description of the land is as follows:

S/2 of NW/4 and SW/4 of Section 27, Township 30 South, Range 33 West

As a "farmer", Tiller receives over $5,900 a year in government farm payments for his land in Haskell County.

 

 

 

MINERAL RIGHTS

Tiller and some of his extended family share the mineral rights on the following land.
