The Trial
This website will not cover the trial of Tiller's accused assailant. Anything I say... no matter how carefully I word it... might be interpreted as approval of the mindless murder of Tiller.

God was using Tiller to "clean house" and rid Kansas of crooked politicians. Nola "No File" Foulston would likely have fallen to scandal if Tiller hadn't been murdered. Instead, now Nola has yet another "slam dunk" trial which she will use to parade in front of the cameras.

Make no mistake. The assailant did the work of the devil.

This website will remain available for several more months following the trial and then will be retired.

After much prayer, I have decided to remove several pages from this website. These include pages on Tiller's employees and his assistant abortionists. This was done largely because Tiller's clinic is closed and the pages no longer serve a purpose. The potential downside is that those pages can now be more easily misrepresented.

The most important pages remain. These include all pages concerning political influence, the heartbreaking stories sent to me by women who have had abortions at Tiller's clinic, and an analysis of the medical safety of Tiller's abortion practice. Perhaps most important is the page detailing the purely-elective late term abortions performed by Tiller.

Those pages are needed to counter the blind veneration of Tiller unfolding in the mainstream media. And those pages will receive long-overdue updates and improvements.

Robbed!
On Sunday, we were robbed when George Tiller was gunned down by a coward.

Jeanne Tiller was robbed of her husband of many decades. Their children were robbed of their father. Their ten grandchildren were robbed of their grandpa. I cannot imagine the shock and grief in their lives today.

George Tiller himself was robbed of his life. He was robbed of one last chance of repentance before he stands before God at the Final Judgment.

America was robbed of the nonviolent and more civil course which the abortion debate had taken over the past ten-or-so years. Pro-Lifers are winning the minds and hearts of Americans. The abortion rate is way down. The percentage of those who call themselves "Pro-Life" is way up. But now what? The hard-line proabortion lobby has already started to capitalize on this shooting.

Wichita Pro-Lifers were robbed of the years of blood, sweat, toil, and tears they've poured into this cause.

I started this website in 2004 to inform. This website has been my "life" for the past five years. I cannot count... nor would I want to... the thousands of hours of research and work I've done. I've bought books and CDs and school yearbooks online. I've scanned and digitized records and pictures and sound clips. I've searched microfilms in the Sedgwick County Library basement... watching the pages whirl along for hours until I'm dizzy. I scoured hundreds of pages of contribution reports and traced campaign funny-money as far as I could... then tried to explain it in a way that makes sense. I even spent several hours finding a picture of Jack Tiller... George's late father. Since George mentioned his father so often, I felt I needed to learn more about Jack. I've located obscure pictures, quotes, DVDs, and recordings of Tiller that gave a true glimpse into Tiller's mind. And these are just a few of the many topics I researched. I assembled the most complete website on Tiller on the Internet. Now most all of my work over these last five-plus years seems wasted... robbed by a geek with a gun.

Pro-Lifers were so, so close to putting a peaceful end to Tiller's abortion practice. Sure, Tiller had "skated" on the recent criminal charges. Not a surprise really. But the very fact that Tiller stood trial was an amazing accomplishment. It shook him deeply. I tried not to gloat. Then the Board of Healing Arts announced an investigation of Tiller. I was already speculating how his reign of abortion would end. Maybe he'd truly find Jesus? Maybe he'd sell the clinic to someone with less political clout... and closure would follow? Maybe he'd just retire and close the place! Maybe he'd go to jail. Hopefully he'd lose his medical license. I could smell victory.

And Tiller's cronies were falling like flies. Paul Morrison, the Kansas Attorney General, resigned in disgrace for conduct that would have never come to light had Tiller not bankrolled his campaign. Board of Healing Arts chairman Larry Buening, a friend of Tiller, resigned in disgrace. Tiller's hand-picked governor, Kathleen Sebelius, was confirmed to Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services, but only after she took a great deal of heat for her ties with Tiller. It was fun to wonder, "Which crooked crony will squirm next?" In the age of the Internet, being Tiller's friend and associate was an albatross. I'll gladly take some credit for that. It was part of my "name and shame" approach. Politicians may have loved his campaign cash, but they didn't like the stench it left.

And I'm afraid the shooting will rob us of the truth itself. Tiller will be transformed from pariah to "martyred saint." We'll hear the unchallenged claim that "Tiller performed late-term abortions only in the gravest of circumstances", when he performed late-term abortions for very trivial reasons. We'll hear how "caring, kind, and gentle" Tiller was toward his patients, when many of Tiller's former patients tell brutal stories that still make me cringe after I've read them dozens of times. We'll hear how "safe" abortion was at Tiller's clinic when the truth brings that to question. Those of us who stand against the violence of abortion and stand against violence aimed at abortionists will be shouted down and impugned and lumped together with the "justifiable homicide" creeps. Then perhaps Obama's heavy-handed tactics will "correct" the abortion debate the same way he has "corrected" the auto industry. Perhaps the First Amendment will become conditional. Perhaps truth will become irrelevant.

From the beginning, this website has served to inform. In fact, rarely do I even state that abortion is wrong, because that is self-evident. I've never justified nor downplayed violence. I even refused to name the woman who shot Tiller in 1993... her name is not worth repeating. I listed Tiller's church among several other churches cozy with him. I listed the neighborhood the Tillers lived in to bring shame upon the whole cozy neighborhood, but I didn't identify which street the Tillers lived on let alone their house number. I didn't list Tiller's home phone number, car tag number, nor his social security number.

From the beginning, my purpose was clear. I have no reason to be ashamed. It will be harder to misrepresent this website if it is still available. This website will continue. Hundreds of thousands have used this website to learn about Tiller. Now it is more important than ever that this truth be available.
